Synopsis[]
After Gisela releases a new single, Bumper meets with a famous music video director.
Plot Summary[]
After Gisela makes a new video, fueled by the rejection from Pieter the night before, Bumper decides he needs to up his game. Pieter and Thea take him to meet the famous fashion icon and artist, Klaus. Klaus is actually their dad but he prefers to keep the artist side and dad side separate.
Klaus is initially reluctant to take Bumper on as a client but after Bumper does an impromptu performance at his gallery, singing Barbie Girl, Klaus agrees. They are thrilled. Klaus transforms Bumper’s look completely until he is almost recognizable. He decides to do a video where Bumper “kills” his former self, which is nerdy and unlikeable according to Klaus. Pieter and Thea are upset. They see their dad is making fun of their friend and they leave.
Bumper continues on with Klaus. Meanwhile, Heidi is feeling neglected by the group because she feels they don’t see her as a peer. Gisela recruits Heidi to be her own songwriter and Heidi strongly considers it. They meet at a bar and Heidi tells her her ideas but Gisela tells her she really wants her for her inside information about Bumper because she wants to take him down.
Bumper realizes Klaus is trying to kill his former self and he’s not okay with it. He leaves and reunites with Pieter and Thea. They make up and go out to find Heidi, who admits she considered working with Gisela. However, she decided instead that she wants Pieter to be her manager and to work for her. He agrees and they’re thrilled.
Heidi and Bumper have a moment talking. She leaves and Bumper realizes he has feelings for her.
