Equipment[]
The balls used are replaced by typical sporting balls. A Quaffle is replaced by a volleyball, bludgers are replaced by dodgeballs and the snitch is a tennis ball in a sock tucked into the waist of the Snitch Runners pants.
Each team has three hoops that are used for scoring points. Each one is worth 10 points. Each member also requires a broomstick.
Positions[]
There are seven people on each team. There is also a "snitch runner" who belongs to neither team.
Chasers: Their job is to run the Quaffle (volleyball) up the field by keeping it to themselves or passing it to other chasers. They want to either throw or kick the ball into the opponents hoops.
Beaters: Their job is to throw bludgers (dodgeballs) at the other team to temporarily freeze an opponent. They typically target the Chasers.
Keepers: They act as a goalie. They want to defend their hoops from the opposite teams Chasers.
Seekers: One seeker limit per team. Their job is to catch the snitch (tennis ball).
Snitch runner: A neutral player. They run around with the snitch attached to them. They want to hold onto it for as long as they can without any team getting it. Once the snitch is caught, the game is over and the team gets 30 points.
Trivia[]
